AUS versus ENG, Ashes 2021-22, second Test in Adelaide, Day 3 Live Score and Updates: Joe Root Scores Fifty, England Stable
The second day of the pink Test in
Adelaide was indeed overwhelmed by the hosts. The Steve Smith-drove side batted
for two session prior to declare the innings for 473 for 9. Marnus Labuschagne
turned into the primary player to hit three centuries in day-night test matches
while commander Steve Smith passed up a ton as Australia choked England with an
incredible aggregate.
Labuschagne made 103 and Smith scored 93

exhausted bowlers and Australia proclaimed later tea.
Britain limped to 17-2 in 8.4 overs – as
yet following by 456 runs – before a monstrous blaze of lightning took the
players off the field and carried an early conclusion to the subsequent day's
play.
At lunch they were 140 for 2 in 41
overs. Captain Joe Root (57) and David Malan (68) are batting. An unbeaten
128-run stand.
