Australia secure in Adelaide Test

 


At the end of the first day of the second Test (day and night) at the Oval in Adelaide, Australia secured the position. David Warner missed the target again by 5 runs. Warner was also out for 94 in the first innings of the first Test at Gabba.

Australia won the toss and elected to bat, losing Marcus Harris (3) for just four runs on the scoreboard. Warner (95) then parted ways with midfielder Marnus Labuschagne (95 not out). The duo added 172 runs for the second wicket. At the end of the game it was 221 for 2. Steven Smith is at the crease with 18 runs along with Labuschagne.
