In
the interim, there is not a single goal to be found for the impasse in the
Rajya Sabha over the suspension of 12 MPs as a unified resistance on Sunday
dismissed the public authority's effort to determine the logjam.
Top
sources in the resistance told PTI they won't go to the Monday early daytime
meeting assembled by Leader of the House Piyush Goyal as solicitations were
shipped off heads of the four gatherings whose MPs have been suspended and not
to the whole resistance.
Reacting
to a letter from Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi welcoming the
four gatherings, Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge said
"select solicitations were awful". The public authority's
solicitations have gone to the Congress, Trinamool Congress, Shiv Sena and the CPI(M),
sources said. The gathering was assembled at 10 am on Monday as the Winter
Session of Parliament enters its last week. "We won't go to the upcoming
gathering with the public authority as the resistance stands joined in its
battle," a senior resistance pioneer told PTI. Kharge said he got a letter
on Sunday evening requesting pioneers from the four gatherings, whose
individuals in the Rajya Sabha have been suspended, to the gathering.
"All
Opposition parties are joined in the dissent against the suspension of the 12
MPs. We have been mentioning from the evening of November 29 itself that either
the administrator of the Rajya Sabha or the Leader of the House Piyush Goyal
should call heads of all Opposition parties for a conversation to break the
impasse," he said.
"This
sensible solicitation of our own has not been consented to. Further, welcoming
just heads of four Opposition parties as opposed to welcoming heads of all
Opposition parties is out of line and lamentable," Kharge said in his
letter to Parliamentary Affairs Minister Joshi.
TMC
pioneer Derek O'Brien tweeted, "Monday morning STUNT from a not
administration need Parliament to work. Government calls heads of the four
Opposition parties whose 12 RS MPs have been discretionarily suspended."
