PM Modi to lay stone of Major Dhyan Chand Sports University in Meerut today

 


Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay stone of Major Dhyan Chand Sports University in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, around 1pm on Sunday.

The varsity will be set up in a space covering Salawa and Kaili towns of Sardhana town in Meerut at an expected expense of about 700 crore,official announcement gave by the Prime Minister's Office said.

The foundation of Major Dhyan Chand Sports varsity in the survey bound state will be in accordance with the Prime Minister's vision of instilling wearing society and setting up top notch brandishing framework in all pieces of the country.

The sports varsity will be furnished with current and best in class sports framework including manufactured hockey ground, football ground, ball, volleyball, handball, kabaddi ground, yard tennis court, exercise room corridor, engineered running arena, pool, multipurpose lobby and a cycling Velodrome.

It will likewise house offices for shooting, squash, acrobatic, weightlifting, arrow based weaponry, paddling, and kayaking, among different offices with the limit of preparing 1,080 sportspersons, including 540 ladies and as numerous men.
