BUDGET 2022: THE GOVERNMENT'S NEXT GOAL IS TO CREATE 60 LAKH EMPLOYMENT, SAID TO THE FINANCE MINISTER NIRMALA SITHARAMAN

Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, who presented the Union Budget 2022, stated that
the government's next goal is to create 60 lakh employment. "PM Gati
Shakti will propel the economy forward, resulting in more jobs and opportunity
for the youth," she said.
She
stated that the government is committed to empowering the country's youth,
women, and impoverished.
"The
Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme for attaining Aatmanirbhar Bharat has
had an excellent response, with the potential to create 60 lakh new jobs and 30
lakh crore in additional production over the next Keycap digit five
years," she said.
Finance
Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is presenting her fourth budget, with the goal of
keeping India's status as the world's fastest-growing economy.
The
budget is released just days before the first round of voting in Uttar Pradesh,
which will be joined by four other states in electing a new state
administration.
The
Indian economy is expected to grow 9.2% in the fiscal year that ends in March,
after contracting by 7.3 percent the previous fiscal year.
