SACHIN TENDULKAR CLAIMS THAT A CASINO USED HIS MORPHED IMAGES FOR PROMOTIONAL PURPOSES AND THAT HE INTENDS TO SUE
On
Thursday, cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar announced he will sue a casino for
using his modified photographs to promote itself on social media. Tendulkar's
photos are said to have been used to promote the 'Big Daddy' casino in Goa.
"While
my legal team is taking the necessary steps, I believed it was vital for me to
share this information with everyone," the famed right-handed batter wrote
on Twitter.
"It
has come to my attention that there are several adverts on social media sites
featuring an altered photo of me recommending a casino," he added.
Everyone
should be on the lookout for deceptive photos on social media.

Tendulkar,
who has a slew of records to his name and has also served as a national
captain, expressed his displeasure with his photographs being used to mislead
others.
"In
my own role, I have never advocated gambling, tobacco, or alcohol - directly or
indirectly. It hurts me to see my photographs being used to deceive people
"Tendulkar added.
