AT DELHI AIRPORT, A SPICEJET AEROPLANE CARRYING PASSENGERS COLLIDES WITH AN ELECTRIC POLE


New Delhi, India: At the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi, a SpiceJet jet carrying passengers collided with an electric pole. The event occurred during the aircraft's pushback on Monday.

Following the incident, the aircraft was altered, and passengers were rerouted to another flight, according to airport officials. According to them, an investigation into the occurrence has been initiated.

Flight SG 160 was supposed to leave Delhi for Jammu, according to the airline.

"SpiceJet flight SG 160 was scheduled to fly between Delhi and Jammu today." During the push back, the right-wing trailing edge collided with a post, damaging the aileron. ANI reported a SpiceJet official as saying, "A substitute aircraft has been arranged to operate the flight."

According to reports, the incident occurred on a Boeing 737-800 aeroplane while it was travelling from the passenger terminal to the runway. In the event, both the plane and the electric pole were damaged.
