FIVE INDIAN STUDENTS WERE MURDERED IN A CAR ACCIDENT IN CANADA
Five
Indian students were died in a horrific road accident in Ontario, Canada, according
to Canadian authorities.
According
to the Canadian Press, the collision occurred on Saturday on Highway 401 in
Quinte West, Ontario, between a vehicle and a tractor trailer.
According
to the report, Harpreet Singh, Jaspinder Singh, Karanpal Singh, Mohit Chouhan,
and Pawan Kumar were all pronounced dead at the site.
The
victims were between the ages of 21 and 24. They were all students from the
Greater Toronto and Montreal areas, according to the police.
Ajay
Bisaria, India's High Commissioner to Canada, described the incident as a
"heart-breaking tragedy."
"A
heartbreaking incident occurred in Canada on Saturday, when five Indian
students were killed in a car accident near Toronto. Two more people are in the
hospital. Heartfelt sympathies to the victims' families.
S Jaishankar, India's External Affairs Minister, expressed his condolences on the deaths of the five Indian students on Monday. "We express our heartfelt condolences on the deaths of five Indian students in Canada. Heartfelt condolences to their loved ones. Please pray for those who have been injured. "All essential support and assistance will be provided." he tweeted.
